A museum dedicated to the Karakul of Botoşani sheep, but also to the place where the sheep are raised. Objects that reflect the activity of sheep breeders from Reg. Moldova, the port of the peasant since the 1900s. The idea of opening a museum was born from the desire of both sheep breeders in the northeast of Romania and the team of the Research and Development Station for Raising Sheep and Goats "Popăuţi" to pay tribute to the work and effort of all those who contributed to the creation and approval of the Karakul of Botoşani sheep breed, a unique biological creation at EU level, specialized in the production of skins with several colored lines.
