One of the oldest art galleries of Babeş-Bolyai University is named after the Cluj artist Paul Sima (1932-1991). He stood out for his monumental works and expressive paintings depicting various scenes and motifs of the Transylvanian village. Paul Sima started the exhibition tradition in this space, presenting to the public works by students and graduates of the "Ion Andreescu" Institute of Fine Arts (today, the University of Art and Design). Thus, in the gallery space you will find, mainly, the works of young people who are in the process of asserting themselves, who need the support and attention of the public, but also the works of already established artists. We invite you ...to discover beauty in its various forms of expression.
