The Directorate of University Cultural Heritage (DPCU) is a department within Babeş-Bolyai University, whose main objective is the preservation of the university’s museum, archival and artistic heritage, as well as its promotion within the academic community and the general public. Established in the fall of 2013, DPCU currently manages the university’s museums, its historical archive and three art galleries. As a promoter of university culture, DPCU actively collaborates with other institutions to strengthen UBB’s contribution to local and national socio-cultural life.
