Inaugurated in the spring of 2018, the David Prodan Memorial Museum is both a place of memory, dedicated to one of the most important Romanian historians, and a dynamic space, oriented towards organizing and supporting cultural events. The David Prodan Memorial Museum hosts a special collection, consisting of authentic pieces of furniture, art objects and books, correspondence, unpublished documents and family photographs that belonged to the historian David Prodan (1902-1992). We invite you to visit the place where so many masterpieces of historical writing were born, but also to enjoy an atmosphere from other times, which we can hardly find today in the urban rush. More than a historian'...s creative space, the David Prodan Memorial Museum represents a stop for reflection on the destiny of a Romanian intellectual in the complicated 20th century, his legacy, but also an invitation to a series of cultural dialogues with personalities of the time from various fields.
