The Liviu Vlad Hall was inaugurated on February 28, 2020 and houses, in the form of a permanent exhibition, three collections donated by Professor Liviu Vlad to Babeş-Bolyai University. These include selected works from the three exhibitions that the artist displayed on the galleries of the Paul Sima Gallery within UBB. Liviu Vlad was born on January 15, 1946 in Cluj-Napoca, where he attended primary and higher education. Although his inclination towards the visual arts was evident since childhood, he pursued a career as a surgeon. Over the years, he has carried out both his professional and artistic activities in parallel, about which he said: "Both activities have brought me sati...sfaction and I cannot fault either of them."<br> In the Liviu Vlad Hall, the following can take place:<br> • Temporary exhibitions<br> • Creative workshops<br> • Book/film presentations<br> • Educational activities<br> We want to highlight the concerns of talented young people, emerging artists and art lovers.
