Timişoara Military Museum is located in six halls, five of which reflect distinct periods of Romanian history - "Decebalus", "Early Middle Ages", "The Middle Ages", "Michael the Brave", "The Union of the Romanian Principalities and the two World Wars" - and the hall named "Weapons and Military Uniforms" comprising exhibits of this kind from various historical periods. The museum heritage includes over 2,000 museum artefacts: maps, period documents, models of historic monuments, photographs, weaponry and military uniforms. The museum reopened on in 1996, and is located in the listed building of the Military Casino.
