The Ceahlău commune museum has been operating since 1976 and was founded at the initiative of teacher Grigore Ungureanu in the premises of the first school in the commune, a building dating back to 1924. The building is divided into three rooms, on a single level. From a generous porch you enter the museum into a hall, and from the hall into the two rooms (former classrooms). The rooms display the two categories of pieces that are part of the museum collection, as follows: on the left, the exhibition consists of ethnographic pieces intended to provide information related to the popular costume, traditional occupations in the mountain area of Neamţ county; in the room ...on the right, a series of faunal species from the Ceahlău mountain area are presented to the public, placed in glass cases. On the walls of the entrance hall are exhibited old photographs with the beginnings of the museum point.
