The Dr Kéri museum collection is presented in rehabilitated folk buildings, characteristic of the Valea Ierului ethnographic area. The museum material is exhibited in a house-museum and thematic exhibitions system. The house-museum means that in traditional dwellings, interiors specific to the social class to which the respective household belonged are presented. The annex buildings of the presented households host thematic exhibitions of ethnography, decorative art, archaeology, documents, memorial history, numismatics, science and technology, natural sciences. The majority of the objects are collected mainly from the Valea Ierului ethnographic area. These folk buildings are located... in two localities: 1. Galoşpetreu Village: • No. 385: Middle-class peasant household from the second half of the 19th century. Constructions: dwelling with 4 rooms and a barn on one side. Stable with 2 rooms, place for cart and cart, toilet, hay shed, pigpen, well with scale, cellar with wine cellar and corn bed. In the annexed buildings there are thematic exhibitions: vegetable braiding, hemp processing, agricultural machinery, vine and winemaking equipment. • No. 517: Dráveczky Manor, built before 1834. Buildings: 7-room middle-class landowner's house and 6-room stable. In the stable there are thematic exhibitions of crafts: cooper; belt maker; tailor; barber; exhibition of folk ceramics, audio-visual objects, lamps, memorial, history, archeology, numismatics. • no. 516: Peasant house built in 1965 with traditional techniques (văioage, clay plastering) with 5 rooms in which there are exhibitions of a cast iron stove and ironwork. In the yard there is a well with a working wheel. 2. Sălacea Commune (postal code 417445, siruta code: 30988): • No. 400: Peasant household servant (jeler) from the mid-19th century. Constructions: dwelling with two rooms and a barn on two sides. Well with a scale, WC. A pig sty and a wooden shed are to be moved to the yard. Traditional vine culture (Bakator variety) is established in the garden. • In the vicinity of the house museum in our property there are 5 different types of rehabilitated wine cellars, 2 of which have thematic exhibitions in the cellar: traditional fishing, winemaking objects. One of the cellars is in operation: grape processing, wine storage and arranged for wine tasting.
