The founder of the museum was the primary school teacher Constantin Scorţaru. The collection includes over 3,000 ethnographic items: iron traps, alphorns, shepherd’s clubs, harrows, pitchforks (the 19th century), carpets, towels, and sculpted chairs. The exhibition illustrates the folk customs in Bukovina.
